When life seems to be frustrating and when things aren't happening the way you think they should. Stop and sit back. Observe the greater truth that all is well and in perfect order for the highest good for all concerned.
Are your thoughts God thoughts?
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Practice Gratitude daily . I practice gratitude throughout the day and highly recommend it. A few years ago, I was deeply saddened by something and not even therapy helped the way I thought it would. I had an intuitive urge to write in a journal everything I was grateful for and it had such a positive effect immediately and felt so good that I did it twice a day -- once in the morning when I first woke up (different from The Morning Pages) and then before going to sleep at night. Doing even just this one thing will effect your life profoundly. (BTW, be grateful for ALL OF IT, at all times, always .)
Choose kindness. Pay attention. Catch yourself judging, whether in thought or speech.
